Pushpa 2: Not Samantha but Shraddha Kapoor to share the dance floor with the Allu Arjun in sequel- Report

The wait to see Allu Arjun reprise his role as Pushpa Raj in Sukumar’s Pushpa 2: The Rule in only increasing as the release date of the action nears. While the film’s first instalment saw Samantha Ruth Prabhu set the stage on fire alongside Arjun in Oo Antava, the upcoming film will see Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor sizzle with the star.

Shraddha Kapoor in Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa 2?

While several actresses’ names have been doing the rounds with regard to Pushpa 2’s item song, a new 123Telugu report reveals that the makers have zeroed in on Shraddha Kapoor for the part. The publication stated that Kapoor is set to sizzle with Allu in a special song.

Shraddha has been on cloud nine ever since her last release, Stree 2. The Rajkummar Rao co-starrer impressed the audience and made the actress one of the most talked about actresses in the industry currently. Given this fame, we wonder how much the actress will charge for the item track. Samantha received a whopping 5 crores for her performance in Pushpa’s Oo Antava.

Written and directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2: The Rule will see Allu Arjun, Fahadh Faasil and Rashmika Mandanna reprise their roles as Pushpa Raj, SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat and Srivalli, respectively. The upcoming action-drama flick – which is said to be the most expensive Indian film to date, was initially set to release on August 15, 2024. However, due to unfinished shooting and post-production work, it will now release on December 6. The Pan-India film will release in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada and Bengali.
